About
We are pleased to announce the reorganization and the activity of the INFOPAT (Association for the Study of International & Foreign Patent & Trademark Laws & Practice) which was set up in 1978, on the occasion of the opening of the European Patent Office (EPO). The INFOPAT is composed of an informal group of patent attorneys and corporate patent experts who are interested in the laws and practice relating to intellectual property rights in foreign countries. We meet whenever we have a guest from a foreign country who is willing to talk about patent, trademark or any other industrial property laws and practice in his country. Membership of the INFOPAT consists of about 60 active members each year and totals around 150 in all, including those who are not active this year. The meeting is quite informal one where we get together having the foreign expert as our guest speaker.
